Atlantic - Long Beach
Keith G. of Long Beach, California reached out to us after trying to first get plans for his garage conversion approved by the city on his own. We were successfully able to come in, transfer the plans from handwritten drawings to CAD files, provide him Title 24, and get his project approved in less than 2 months (of us working with him). ​
​
Within just 8 months, he was successfully able to complete his ADU garage conversion!

Coyle - Arcadia
The homeowners on Coyle Avenue in Arcadia reached out to us, after finding our LA City pre-approved ADU plan. While they couldn't necessarily use the plan within their city, they loved our consistent communication and decided to move forward with building a standalone 600 SF structure.
​
We were successfully able to get the plans for the ADU approved in just 2 months.
​
The project is currently under construction.
Addition - Los Angeles
After finding us on Facebook, the owners of this investment property didn't know where to start. They had multiple properties, which had the potential for SB-9 developments, second units, additions, and ADUs. Finally, after a few initial in-person consultations, they settled on building an addition of this home that was recently vacated. ​

We were successfully able to get the plans for the addition approved in just 2 months.
​​
The owners are currently getting bids for construction, and we're excited to post progress.
The Cooper Residence
The owners of 6th Avenue in Los Angeles reached out to us, after finding us on social media. It was a dynamic mother and daughter duo who were determined to convert their garage into an ADU to increase the value of their property as part of a larger project.
Mei Li Homes as the designer successfully got their project approved in less than 2 months, and construction is almost completed.

Whittier Plan Rescue
After their previous plan designer was unable to get their ADU application approved after 2 years and 6 rounds of corrections, the owners of a home in Whittier reached out to us for a plan rescue.
Within just 2 months, the Mei Li Homes team was able to clear all of those in just 60 days, helping the owner finally get his ADU to the next stage: ready to build.

Pico Rivera
When one of our referral contractors needed a plot plan of a home in Pico Rivera the next business day, he reached out to us.
While he didn't need us to provide CAD files, as he had his own in-house team, he did need us on-site to grab the measurements by hand.

We were able to go out get these measurements, scan them in, and get them back to him next business day.

The Orchard ADU
This client found us by referral, and we worked with her to convert her existing detached garage into an ADU. We were successfully able to complete the plans for the project within just 2 months, and construction has commenced.
Denver - Los Angeles
On this project, Mei Li Homes partnered with one of our referral designers to provide the as-built plans for the existing detached structure to be converted into an ADU.

Those plans were successfully completed and construction commenced.
2-Story LA City Home - Measurements
For this project, Mei Li Homes partnered with one of our referral designers to provide the on-site measurements for the existing structure and site of a future addition.
​​
These measurements were successfully completed for the home same day, and provided to the designer.
OC Floor Plan - 2-Story Townhome
When a contractor was contacted by the city to produce floor plans for a project he already completed, he entrusted us to help him get the floor plans reflecting the remodel done within just 1 day.
​
Using our floor plans, he successfully received sign off from a city usually tough to work with in the OC area and we couldn't have been happier to help.

Alhambra - 2-Story ADU
For this project, Mei Li Homes worked with a homeowner (who found us through the LADBS Pre-Approved ADU Plan website) to transform his sketches into a full plan set for a brand new 2-story ADU. ​​
​​
Our team successfully designed and received approval for the new ADU in just 80 days! The client has successfully started construction, and soon in the area pictured above there will be a new ADU.

San Bernardino - Floor Plan & Site Plan
The contractor on the 2-story townhome in OC liked our work so much he referred us to another contractor in search of floor plans and a site plan for a burned-out home in San Bernardino.
​
We successfully went out to the property, captured all on-site measurements, and provided these deliverables the next business day.

La Habra Heights - Site Plan
For this project, Mei Li Homes was called in by a contractor to capture the site plan of the property for a future potential addition to the 2-story home. ​
We were able to go out the same day, gather all the measurements, act as an on-the-ground liaison for the contractor to gather design requirements from the homeowner, and deliver a dimensioned site plan to the client by next business day.

Sunland - Addition to ADU
The property owners of this home and Accessory Dwelling Unit in the Sunland area of Los Angeles were eager to turn the 1 bedroom unit into a 3 bedroom unit to generate even more rental income.
​
After finding us on the LADBS pre-approved ADU plan website, they reached out and we successfully worked with them to create the plans and get them approved using the over-the-counter expedited plan check process.
​​
It was a great project and we were excited to help them on their journey.
Northridge - Garage Conversion
On this project in Northridge, Mei Li Homes worked with the homeowners to convert their existing attached garage into an ADU. Our designers successfully got the plans approved in less than 2 months.

Hollywood Hills - House Measure
As soon as these real estate investors closed on their Hollywood Hills flip, Mei Li Homes was sent on-site to take the as-built measurements for this 2,661 SF split-level home.
Ordered on a rush, we provided the measurements as CAD files the same day.

Anaheim - 2-Story ADU & Addition
After finding us online, this contractor reached out for us to design the addition and garage conversion into a 2-story Accessory Dwelling Unit in the city of Anaheim.
The project is still in progress, and we're excited to post the finished results.
Coto De Caza
Mei Li Homes not only partners with traditional contractors, but also landscape contractors. For this project, we went on site to a home in the Coto De Caza gated community.

We provided the on-site measurements, which were handed off for their own in house team to translate into a general site and landscape plan.
West Covina - Detached ADU
After finding out about us on Facebook, this property owner reached out to us to convert his 2-car detached garage into an ADU.
​
He ended up selecting one of our pre-designed plans, and the project is still in progress. ​
